Eneloop kairo pocket body warmer
Sanyo does it again. Here is yet another product by Sanyo based on the company’s eneloop rechargeable battery technology. It is called Eneloop Kairo which is a pocket size body warmer. Kairo comes in two types one with built-in battery and other with AAA size eneloop batteries. The built in battery model comes with lithium ion battery and it can be charged up to 500 times. Every charging takes about 3 hours and usage time is about 7 hours. Temperature can be controlled automatically on Kairo with the aid of embedded microcomputer making safe for children and elderly. The other Kairo model works with two AAA size eneloop batteries. This model warms up from both sides. The advantage of this model over the built in battery one is that by bringing extra batteries you can enjoy Kairo for much longer time. Also you can use this model as a charger when it is not used as a warmer. This model comes with a turbo mode which will make it to warm up quickly. The batteries with the help of AC adapter can be recharged in about 4.5 hours and can be used between 4 to 5 hours depending on temperature setting. 
Sanyo is trying to promote sales of these type of product based on government saving energy initiative during winter period otherwise referred to as “Warm Biz” at offices and working places by lowering room temperature to about 20 degrees Celsius. So by help of these types of products employees will be able to keep themselves warm. By the way such an initiative by government during the summer period is referred to as “Cool Biz” and all sort of gadget and products are available to keep one cool by raising the room temperature to 27 degrees Celsius.
