The most challenging part of this development for mobile phone has been in regard to problem with distortion or out of focus images which may occur due to shaking of users hands when they are trying to take the shot of an image which would cause repeated failure in decoding process resulting in prolong decoding time. Fujitsu has overcome this obstacle through implementation of newly developed select image filter processing providing a capability in removing distorted or out of focus parts from the input images resulting in reduced decoding time. Through this effort information encryption of printed document can prevent the information leakage, furthermore the newly developed technology provide a capability to its user to view the printed confidential information by using the mobile phone even in places outside of office where there are no access to a PC. The new technology is capable of decoding selected encrypted part of hard copy document by viewing through the camera of mobile phone. Additionally, the user would be able to protect their personal information such as credit card ID or password by simply writing them on their regular notebooks. Fujitsu is planning to put this technology into practical use by the end of 2009 and commercializing it by 2010.
