A new environmental friendly extermination device for harmful insects
Here is good news for people having problem with flies, mosquitoes and other harmful insects. SHU SAN Corp developed an insects catching device “Suitoru-kun”. The “Suitoru-kun” does not produce any odor and does not use any chemicals or baits for capturing the insects plus it does not cause any air pollution. “Suitoru-kun” uses a special lamp with Titanium Dioxide coating for luring the insects and then sucking them up via its internal fan and finally collecting them into a net which has been set under the device, so no more mess. When “Suitoru-kun” is turned on the lamp and the fan turns on simultaneously opening the internal damper grabbing the insects with a strong sucking power. Unlike some conventional methods such as use of adhesion sheet type to catch the insects which requires regular replacement and uses of chemicals and bait, the use of fan and the net in “Suitoru-kun” can avoid problems related to scattered dead insects and use of chemicals and baits resulting in a very low running cost. The “Suitoru-kun” can be run with as low as 1 yen for one hour operation using 28 W.
