Introduction of compact size Digital Tuner by Buffalo
Buffalo Japan introduced a compact size terrestrial digital tuner. The “DTV-S31” features a W125×H28×D143mm in dimension and weight of about 245 g. The “DTV-S31” has a composite video output and an analog stereo output, further by connecting video/sound cable to the analog TV; you can watch a high quality terrestrial digital broadcasting without signal deterioration and ghosting image. In addition to this, the user is able to watch closed-captioned broadcasting.
The “DTV-S31” comes with zoom function capable of enlarging and displaying a full screen of 4:3 analog TV without black boarder around the image. Furthermore, by connecting to the analog wide TV, the wide image can be displayed in a full screen so you can enjoy a dynamic wide broadcasting. The “DTV-S31” accompanied remote control is capable of basic operation such as power on/off or controlling volume on all 16 companies’ TVs that are sold in Japan making it possible to operate the TV and tuner by the “DTV-S31” remote control. “DTV-S31” will go on sale at the beginning of July but Buffalo Japan has yet to set a price for “DTV-S31”.
