The imagePRESS C1+ color printing solution which is based on Virtual Imaging Cypher DICOM Print Solution which is currently waiting for its FDA approval is capable of producing high quality color prints for healthcare professional who are looking for an affordable solution. The newly developed color printer when it is combined with Cypher and Canon’s advanced portable and general digital radiography (DR) systems can produce high quality paper prints. In spite of the prints not being used for diagnostic purposes, the new imagePRESS C1+ is designed specifically for print environments that require a high degree of accuracy and detail and consistency in image reproduction. The imagePRESS C1+ is capable of supporting multiple DICOM compliant modalities as well as PACS systems without any needs for dedicated printing solution for each modality. Furthermore, the imagePRESS C1+ has the capability of handling multiple simultaneous associations and can log the network exchange for the analysis purposes. Additionally, imagePRESS C1+ provides gamma and contrast image value adjustments for each individual printer.
