Development of PV Inverter with Industry’s Highest Conversion efficiency by SANYO DENKI
SANYO Denki made an announcement on development of its two latest model of Photovoltaic Inverter system achieving the market highest conversion efficiency of 97.8 percent. In addition to its highest conversion efficiency both models require only a 0.68 square meter for installation. Furthermore, the newly developed inverter does not require any maintenance services for 10 years thanks to its components long-life cycle. Both model namely the P83C104RH and the P83C104RL have a rate output of 100kW. The P83C104RH and the P83C104RL have a DC input of 400 to 840V and 340 to 700V and AC output of 400V and 380V respectively. Both models are targeted for use in public and industrial photovoltaic system. The newly developed inverters release date is December of 2009.

[...] Sanyo Denki earlier this month made an announcement on development of industry’s top energy saving cooling fan. The newly developed fan in addition to its energy saving feature is capable of large air flow, high static pressure and low noise. The new cooling fan is best suited for communication equipments, servers, storage and power supply. It comes with the PWM speed control function for control of external fan rotation speed. The company’s projected sale for this newly fan is 12,000 units per month for initial fiscal year and 15,000 units per month for the second fiscal year. The new fan has a weight of 240g and dimension of 92mm x 92mm x 38mm. Its air flow is at 4.00 m3/min (141 CFM) at high speed rotation and 0.97 m3/min (34.3 CFM) at low speed rotation. the new cooling fan’s power consumption for high spped and low speed rotation is at 25.2W and 1.92W respectively with a life expectancy of 40,000 hours.
