Development of Industry’s Smallest All-in-One Smart Telephony Box by OKI Networks
OKI Networks a subsidiary of OKI Electric Industry specializing in design and manufacturing of telecommunication products, made an announcement on launch of a smart telephony box equipped with key telephone system and broadband router for micro and small enterprises. The newly developed “IPstage1000″ is an all-in-one Smart Telephony Box that is equipped with a key telephone system and router targeted for European and Japanese Markets.The new IPsatge1000 would allow organization with easy service roll-up up on the opening of new offices or new units or teams. Furthermore, using the various features of the new system would allow business expansion for instance using IP phone services resulting in reduction in telecommunication fees for such activities as sales. The new system will allow users to set up and operate key telephone systems and router without technical knowledge. The new device is the industry’s smallest in class, a compact A4 size. The new system will offer a new communication environment as it can incorporate up to 30 IP extension telephones such as software phones and the newly released IP multi keytelephone designed exclusively for IPstage 1000. The company yet to set a price for IPstage1000. The shipment to commence by January of 2010 with a sales target of 80,000 units within 3 years after launch in Japan and overseas markets.
