Development of Next Generation Digital Imaging Product by CASIO
Casio Computer has taken digital imaging one step further by introducing a revolutionary digital imaging product capable of converting regular snapshots into works of art thanks to its new Digital Art Frame through “snapshot-to-painting conversion” function. The newly developed product with the help of its Picture Alteration technology gives the user the freedom of creating up to eight different authentic style of art all from a single photo which is Water Color Painting, Color Pencil Sketch, Pastel Painting, Pointillism, Air Brush, Oil Painting, Gothic Oil Painting, and Fauvist Oil Painting.
Furthermore, the newly developed Digital Art Frame comes with Casio’s face recognition technology capable of creating a work of art while highlighting the faces in the photo ensuring that individual’s faces clear recognition. Additionally, the user can enjoy slide show via automatic playback of photos, art, or both by simply inserting an SD card with photo on it. The Digital Art Frame also feature Dynamic photo function inherited from Casio’s digital cameras providing the capability of creating composite moving images, whereby a user can combine moving characters directly on the Digital Art Frame. The Digital Photo Frame also uses Adobe Flash Lite playback technology allowing users to display preset Flash content such as calendars and clocks. The user can also download additional content form the internet. Finally, by combining the Dynamic Photo and snapshot-to-painting conversion functions on the Digital Art Frame and images from a Casio digital camera with high-speed burst shooting, user can use family photos to make their own homemade clocks and calendars. The new product comes with a 10.2 inch WSVGA color LCD with internal memory of 2GB, 1 SD card slot, one USB port as well as WLAN connectivity, weighing 1.25 kg. The new product will be available in spring of 2010.
