World’s First Separable Mobile Phone by Fujitsu will hit the Japan Market
Fujitsu has announced that its newly developed F-04B, the world’s first separable hand set will be available from NTT DOCOMO from March 25th. The unique concept of F-04B will allow the user to separate the display part from the keyboard units, resulting in a freedom of sending e-mails or other search related tasks while talking on the phone. The touch screen display allows it to operate independently form the keyboard, providing a flexibility for user in its use.
Fujitsu provide a projector unit which is sold separately, allowing the users to view mobile phone contents on a large screen, providing an added scalability to the newly developed handset. The projector is attached to the display unit. On the other hand, the keyboard unit has a flexibility of being used as a numeric keypad or a QWERTY keyboard for faster typing. The keyboard equipped with its own microphone and speaker, allowing it to be used all on its own for phone calls. Among some of key feature on this F-04B is its high performance 12.2 megapixel effective camera, equipped with Milbeaut Mobile image processing engine, advance human-sensing technology with some feature as “Exercise Monitor” and “Location Radar”. The new F-04B offers compatibility with iConcierge, Auto-GPS, FOMA High-Speed (7.2 Mbps), WORLD WING international roaming service (GSM+3G), DCMX, iD and Decome-Anime.
