Release of Industry’s Fastest Card Printer by Toppan Printing
Toppan Printing Company has made an announcement on development of CP500, world’s fastest card printer, ideal for issuing ID and student cards. The new card printer inherits all the characteristics such as durability and high security of previously developed products by Toppan through use of pigment ink, as well as the ability to handle items ranging from magnetic cards to contactless cards and contact IC cards, all with issuance speed that is twice as fast as the previous product.
In addition to this the new card printer comes in a reduced form factor which is roughly a third of the previous product and 50% less in weight of 19 kg. The new CP500 is capable of printing with resolution of 600dpi for a desktop card printer. The new printer comes with USB 2.0/Ethernet interface. It can store up to 250 cards with card hopper and card stacker.
