Development of Industry’s Thinnest Printed Wiring Boards by DNP

DNP has recently released a printed wiring board (PWB) featuring the industry’s slimmest form factor of just 0.28 mm housing embedded components such as IC chips and passive components, like condensers and resistors. The new development beats DNP previous development of 0.38mm thickness PWB which was released by company in January of last year.
The new slim design has been achieved through improvement of board materials and by limiting the profile of embedded components to 0.15mm and less. The mass production of the new 0.28mm thick PWB is set for autumn of 2011.
