Release of Cage-Equipped Thrust Ball Bearing in Hydraulic Static Transmission for Agricultural Machinery

NSK has rolled out a new high-performance and longevity cage-equipped thrust bearing, designed for hydraulic static transmission (HST) in agricultural machinery. The new NSK bearing uses EP steel in outer and inner races due to its strength against sub-surface fatigue. In addition to this, NSK applies a special heat treatment, which also adds resistance to surface fatigue, for the inner as well as outer races and balls.
Furthermore, the new bearing uses a plastic cage that makes it resistant to repeated stress, resulting in an improved reliability under the heavy load conditions.
