Release of Two new Digital Temperature Controller by OMRON
OMRON has recently announced the release of two new digital temperature controllers, the E5CC measuring 48x48mm and E5EC measuring 48x96mm. The two new compact controllers feature the same high level of usability and functionality as the previous model plus features extra high visibility white LCD display with larger characters. The controllers can be powered via a USB converter cable where they can be operated from a desk without any additional cabling. Parameter setting can be done easily without an instruction manual with help of CX-Thermo configuration tool software.
The controller feature “digit shift function” which make it easier to adjust target values. The E5EC model can handle a maximum of 4 auxiliary outputs and 6 event inputs. Both controllers can handle various other types of input/outputs including transfer number of inputs/outputs and optional functions, temperature control which until now has required multiple controller units. The sampling period is at 50ms.
