Development of World’s Smallest Micro DC-DC Converter by Murata
Murata Manufacturing has announced the development of world’s smallest micro DC-DC converter featuring ultra-compact size and suppression of BMI noise. The newly developed converter comprised of ferrite substrate with an embedded inductor and BMI filter with mounted power IC and I/O capacitor.
The new product achieves the shortest wiring by integrating the power IC and inductor. The embedded BMI suppression filter will contribute to reduction of harmonic noise. It supports up to a maximum load current of 3.0A as well as voltage step-up. Its application includes all mobile devices such as smartphones.
