Release of World’s Fastest Data Transfer Speed SDXC and SDHC Memory Cards

Toshiba has announced the launch of a new class of high performance SDHC class memory cards compliant with UHS-I, which is the ultra high speed interface in SD memory card standard ver. 3.0 capable of delivering data at a rate from 25 to 104MB per second. The newly launched EXCERIA™ comes in three different series Type 1, 2 and HD. These high performance memory cards of Type 1 series have world’s fastest data transfer speed with maximum read speed of 95MB/s and a write speed of 90MB/s.
The Type 2 series offer maximum read speed of 95MB/s and maximum write speed of 60MB/s, while Type HD products have a maximum read speed of 90MB/s and write speed of 30MB/s. The products will be released in Japan from April of 2012.
