Release of New Series of Machine Automation Controller by Omron
Omron Industrial Automation has released its latest series of Machine Automation Controller, the NJ3-Series along with its supporting Automation Software Sysmac Studio. The new release follows the earlier launch of Sysmac platform back in July of 2011 by Omron. The new series consists of 2 CPUs, 4 and 8 axes offering full compatibility and scalability from 4 to 64 axes. The new NJ3 Series comes with built-in EtherCAT for machine control and EtherNet/IP for factory automation.
The NJ3 series uses the latest embedded processors from Intel allowing taking full advantage of the architecture of the Sysmac automation platform, meeting advance machine automation needs from low number of axes up to the largest machines.
