Toppan Printing has announced the development of a virtual simulation services for automobile industry providing capability of high-quality 3D computer graphics which can be rendered and distributed in real on a cloud server. The new virtual simulation service can be used as a tool for supporting sales at car dealerships and via internet catalogs. Using the new system allow the user to change color or car parts while making it possible to distribute the information to various devices including PCs, tablet PCs as well as smartphones all through a network.
With 3D graphic rendering capability the user will be able to change the background images and freely change the viewing angle. The cloud server database covers vehicle’s CAD data as well as product information making it ideal to be used for sale activities such as the suitability of optional parts and the price after customization.
