Development of New Monocrystalline Solar Modules with 18.6% Conversion Efficiency

Kyocera monocrystalline silicon solar modulesKyocera has further enhanced its industry leading production technique in monocrystalline by manufacturing latest solar modules for residential use in Japan with a conversion efficiency of 18.6% exceeding the company’s previous recorded efficiency of 17.8%. The new improvement made possible by enhancing crystal quality, improving the electrode process as well as reduction of carrier recombination.
Currently Japanese residential market shows a strong demand for high-output solar modules to accommodate the limited rooftop spaces. The new module will hit the market on April of this year.
