Launch of Industry’s highest Brightness Dual- Lamp Projector by Sanyo
Sanyo Electric today made an announcement of launch the LP-XF1000 dual-lamp projector featuring a rich color. The new projector has been developed based on Sanyo’s own QuaDrive Engine technology offering industry highest brightness of 12000 lumens in an AC 100V. Incorporating the dual-lamp with output capacity of 330-watt plus the high contrast ratio of 4000:1 in the new LP-XF1000 projector will bring the capability of projecting large screen images. Production of New 3LCD chips for Home Projectors by EPSON
Seiko Epson made an announcement on volume production of new liquid crystal panels 3LCD chips to be incorporated into 3LCD home projectors. Measuring only 1.34 cm diagonally, the new high-temperature polysilicon (HTPS) TFT 3LCD chips features a QHD (960×540) resolution. The development of new 3LCD chip by Epson was a response to market demand for HD media players and digital HD broadcasts with large screen viewing option for home with improved resolution and quality of source images. In development of this product Epson has employed its latest D7 process technology in order to widen the new panel’s aperture ratio to 75% resulting in 156% improvement in comparison to previous panels.
