JAPAN Prepare itself for Full-Scale Launch of LTE Commercial Service

NTT DOCOMO’s announcement on start of verification of its new commercial mobile network system on June 8 in Tokyo District is a prelude in start of full-scale launch of extra-high-speed LTE commercial service which company is planning to start sometimes on December of this year. The LTE service success rest solely on smooth handover from its existing W-CDMA to LTE service. Development of New Temperature-Compensated Crystal Oscillator by Epson Toyocom
Epson Toyocom made an announcement on development of new TCXO (Temperature-Compensated Crystal Oscillator) with an OCXO (oven-controlled crystal oscillator) class frequency/temperature coefficient of ±0.1 × 10-6, helping the network equipment manufacturers with their power and space saving requirements. The new TCXO has been designed to satisfy the high accuracy requirements for frequency/temperature coefficient of ±0.1 × 10-6 or better for reference clocks which are used in ultra-compact cellular base stations for home as well as office use.
