Release of New Interchangable Lens Digital Camera by Olympus
Olympus unveiled its new interchangeable lens digital camera and its accessories. The PEN E-P2 is second Olympus camera to be developed based on Micro Four Third System Standard. The new E-P2 is a mirror-less camera with newly expanded range of 8 creative Art Filter function which includes Diorama which is capable of creating the look of a miniature diorama through enhancement of color and contrast as well as blurring the periphery to distort distance perception, and Cross Process which is capable of simulating the unexpected color transpositions ans look that result when negative film is processed with a positive film emulsion or vice versa. Canon’s New POWERSHOT Digital Cameras
Canon has unveiled six new additions to its PowerShot digital camera product lineup. All new digital cameras featuring Optical Image Stabilization with use of the DIGIC 4 Image Processor, resulting in increased performance levels, improved signal processing speeds as well as enhanced image quality. The new Canon PowerShot G11 Digital Camera comes with a 10.0-Megapixel High Sensitivity System and a 5x Optical Zoom lens with Optical Image Stabilization. The new Canon PowerShot G11 also comes with a 28mm wide-angle lens. The new G11 features a 2.8-inch vari-angle PureColor System LCD which is a new additional feature to the G-series providing an easier on-camera previewing and reviewing of images from nearly every angle, but at the same time incorporating the optical viewfinder. The new G11 also features two mode dials for adjusting ISO and exposure compensation plus a full range of shooting and recording modes, including RAW + JPEG for ultimate creative control when editing images. Two new additions to Sony’s Cyber-Shot Exmor R Digital Camera product line-up
Sony unveiled two new additions to its Cyber-Shot digital camera product line-up based on Sony’s “Exmor R” CMOS image Sensor, the Cyber-shot DSC-WX1 and Cyber-Shot DSC-TX1. The Cyber-shot DSC-WX1 and Cyber-Shot DSC-TX1 compact digital camera are among the first that are equipped with Exmor R technology. The Cyber-shot DSC-WX1 comes with 24mm Sony’s G lens of 5x optical zoom with 10fps at full 10.2 mega pixels. Furthermore, the Cyber-shot DSC-WX1 comes with Optical SteadyShot, 8-Scene detection iAuto, plus Anti-Motion Blur/ Hand-held Twilight and HD Movie mode at 720p. Read more

Introduction of three new Compact Digital Camera by Olympus
Olympus has introduced three new additions to its line of compact digital camera. The first in this line up is the µ 7020 series followed by FE-4000 and FE-46. The µ 7020 series features a stylish design incorporating a 7x optical zoom lens with 28mm wide-angle shooting capability plus a 3.0 inch HyperCrystal II LCD monitor. The µ 7020 series among the multitude of features comes with Magic Filter allowing user to apply a color tone or ambience to an image resulting in a dramatic difference change in color of object in real life. The µ 7020 also features a CCD-shift type image stabilization based on Olympus stabilizing algorithm used in digital SLR cameras as well as high sensitivity shooting performance to eliminate the image blur which usually occurs due to camera shake or subject movement in telescopic shooting. The µ 7020 has a HD 12-megapixel CCD which comes with Olympus original TruePic III image processing engine. Buffalo Japan unveiled on April 24th their network attached HDD LinkStation basic model “LS-CHL series (LS-CH500L, LS-CH1.TL, LS-CH1.5L)”. The “LinkStation” is designed not only to store or share data but also lets you to access data through the internet via PC or iPhone 3G. For example, you can store digital camera data on your “LinkStation” through UMPC. “LinkStation” has a built-in DLNA Server which can stream stored data to TV or Audio device that has DLNA capability. Casio Exilim EX-FC100 and EX-FS10
It has certainly been a long road for Casio since the introduction of QV-10 digital camera back in 1995. The EX-FC100 and EX-FS10 provide an overall improvement in picture quality and speed with added lightness and slimness inspired by today’s consumer demand for digital cameras.
