Introduction of New Electronic Board by Hitachi Software
Hitachi Software Engineering announced new models of “StarBoard” an electronic board targeted for educational institution. The first version of “StarBoard”, PX-DUO-50 will be available from August 17 2009. “StarBoard PX-DUO-50” is designed for school ICT (Information and Communication Technology) by improving user interface through introduction of plasma display for its display panel and complementing it with digital terrestrial broadcasting tuner. The second version which is a projector type “StarBoard will be available sometimes in second half of fiscal year 2009. The second version by the tentative name of StarBoard Next-FX-DUO will come with a universal digitizer kit (UDK) which can support various sizes of TVs and blackboard. Read more
Hitachi Maxell brand new “iV” recorder with a built-in Digital Tuner
Hitachi Maxell unveiled their new iV recorder “VDR-R1000” with built-in digital tuner.
“iV recorder” is suitable for use with any TV for recording/playing a program, and the same time it has benefit of increasing the storage capacity by just adding a removable media “iV”. The newly developed “VDR-R1000” has a compact body of 230mm in width X 41mm in height X 170mm in depth which is smaller than B5 size. The “VDR-R1000” will support “acTVila” from fall of 2009, even for TVs which do not have capability of accessing “acTVila” site, allowing them to view contents from “acTVila”. Read more
Introduction of compact size Digital Tuner by Buffalo
Buffalo Japan introduced a compact size terrestrial digital tuner. The “DTV-S31” features a W125×H28×D143mm in dimension and weight of about 245 g. The “DTV-S31” has a composite video output and an analog stereo output, further by connecting video/sound cable to the analog TV; you can watch a high quality terrestrial digital broadcasting without signal deterioration and ghosting image.
