Installation of Solar Parking Lot in Tokyo by SANYO
Sanyo Electric as part of company’s effort in promoting smart energy systems by combining solar panels, rechargeable batteries and electric hybrid bicycles made an announcement that it will install “Solar Parking Lot” in Setagaya Tokyo in Spring of 2010. The solar parking lot will incorporate solar panels and a lithium-ion battery system plus provides electric hybrid bicycles, “eneloop bike“. The solar panels being installed on the roof of the parking shall provide the energy needed for recharging the electric hybrid bicycle batteries plus it will provide power to illuminate the parking lot lights. Release of Upgraded eneloop batteries by SANYO
Sanyo Electric released its upgraded rechargeable Ni-MH eneloop batteries improving on its number of recharge times. The upgraded eneloop can be recharged approximately 1500 times first in the industry improving up on 1,000 recharge times with its previous model. Sanyo achieved this by use of advance materials through development and incorporation of highly durable super lattice alloy, advance manufacturing method by developing a technology to protect the surface of the super-lattice alloy as well as introduction of advanced structure through use of strong thin outer case. Introduction of Two new models to the eneloop Bike Line up by Sanyo
Here are couples of cool looking bikes for all you outdoor enthusiasts. Sanyo in its promotion of its eneloop core product and its grand picture of greener life has introduced two new additions to its eneloop bike lineup, which are electric hybrid bicycles, to be launched in Japan. Sanyo made an announcement on a rechargeable interior light “eneloop lamp” a new addition to its “eneloop universe” products. The “eneloop universe products” embody the concept of “looping energy is a way of promoting new lifestyle of reusing instead of disposing, which began by Sanyo since November of 2005. Among products that incorporated eneloop rechargeable batteries are ENELOOPE Bike, Eneloop KAIRO and Eneloop solar light to name a few.The ENL-Y1S is a multiple use lamp that can be used as an interior light for daily living as well as a flashlight in case of an emergency. This product utilizes a contact-less charging system bearing no metallic contact on its body resulting in a smooth exterior appearance. The ENL-Y1S as an interior light feature two modes to choose from Clear Mode (high) / Fade Mode (low). It can also be used as a healing light with a blue lamp for places such as bed side with a healing mode (continuous) or a flicker mode (flickering). For those of you who are not familiar with eneloop a short description wont hurt. Eneloop is a rechargeable battery that can be used like alkaline batteries.
