The new dc-dc converters operate from a 20.4Vdc to 27.6Vdc with high efficiency, tight regulation and high reliability in elevated temperature environment, ideal for industrial and networking applications. The new FPMR24Sr304PA converter delivers 4A of output current at a tightly regulated programmable output voltage of 3.0Vdc to 15.5Vdc. Introduction of a New High Power Isolated Quarter Brick DC/DC Converter by FDK
FDK Corporation made an announcement on release of new isolated quarter brick dc/dc converters, a new addition to company’s Sensei Series. The new FPQR48T5R050 converter offers 50 A of output current (250 Watts) with excellent thermal performance. The new converter is designed for Intermediate Bus Architecture (IBA) as well as Distributed Power Architecture (DPA) in the field of telecommunications, data processing, computing and storage demanding a regulated 5V distribution bus. The new FPQR48T5R050 converter operates from 36Vdc to 75Vdc input, while providing a tightly regulated 5Vdc output with an efficiency of over 92.5%. The standard feature of the new converter include input under-voltage lockout (UVLO), output over-current protection (OCP), output over-voltage protection (OVP), over-temperature protection (OTP), remote output voltage sense ,plus output voltage trim using industry standard trim equations, meeting the basic insulation requirement of EN60950 b featuring input to output dc isolation of 1500Vdc. FDK has introduced a new series of non-isolated, point-of-load (POL) dc-dc converters that can operate from 3.0V dc to 5.5V dc input bus. The newly developed single-in-line (SIP) devices are capable of delivering up to 3, 4, and 6 amperes of output current with efficiency of 94%. They offer a tightly regulated programmable output voltage in range of 0.8V dc to 3.465V dc. The new converters provide complete conversion solutions without any needs for external input and output capacitors, making them the true single input converters not requiring an external Vcc (bias) supply for operation.
