Development of Four Legged ROBOT by Toshiba
As the recovery works continue at crippled Fukushima No.1 Nuclear power plant the officials in charge of the investigation and recover work are working hard to find a way to minimize the risk for individuals working at the plant which makes use of robots as an indispensable solution to carry out this operations. One company which has been involved in developing such solution is Toshiba which has developed a tetrapod (four-legged) robot to carry out such type of missions.
