SMK has release a new capacitive type touch panel which is designed for automobile industry, giving ability to its user to operate the panel even when the user is wearing gloves. Due to its highly sensitive sensing characteristics, the new panel reduces incorrect operation which may be caused due to noise. Development of Capacitive-type Touch Panel with Support for Multi-touch and Gesture Input by SMK
SMK has announced the development of a new capacitive touch panel made for tablet terminal as well as e-book readers and PCs supporting both multi-touch and gesture input. The new touch panel features a film-type panel instead of glass resulting in a thinner and lighter touch panels. Furthermore, the decorative laminated bonded on the sensor panel which is compatible both with both glass panels as well as light plastic panels.
