Release of a New Stereo Microscope with Zoom Magnification of 7.5X by NIKON

Nikon has released a new stereo microscope targeted for use in industrial and biomedical fields. The newly developed SMZ745 has a zoom magnification of 7.5X and a total magnification range of 3.35X to 300X, plus a long working distance of 115mm. The improved magnification capability which is highest in its class has been achieved through optimization of Greenough optical system design. The long working distance provides enough room for fabrication and manipulation of the sample. The new SMZ745 has an anti-mold design in its interior of the zoom body, allowing microscope to be used in high temperature and humidity environments. Read more
