NGK Insulator Ltd, Japanese company based on Nagoya has announced the development of gallium nitride (GaN) wafer which would help to double the luminous efficiency of a Led light source. Development of Arithmetic Processor IP Core for MP3 Decoder

Murata Manufacturing in a joint effort with Japanese company, Mathematec Corporation, has developed an arithmetic processor IP core for MP3 decoders that consumes 10% less power in comparison to conventional software processing. The new development made possible through optimization of Murata’s original circuits architecture based on Spinor circuit compression technology which has been developed by Mathmatec Corporation. Next Generation LED display with built-in RGB Colors

LED technology finding its way in various lighting application and display application is no exception. LEDs don’t come cheap and there are still plenty of issues such as power and lighting efficiency and overall cost performance but that have not stopped the manufacturers to come up with some interesting ideas and products in applying this noble technology. One such product is a “3D Block Cluster” with a built-in Red, Green and Blue (RGB) color LED. This next generation LED display was developed by a Japanese company by the name of Stellar Arts. This newly developed display is capable of displaying movie on the block screen. By connecting each individual block various objects such as event booth and panels can be created easily, it is just like playing with toy blocks. Here is a wonderful Eco friendly product developed by a Japanese company TRIM CO. LTD out of Okinawa ,Japan. The company has come up with a new way of dealing with recyclable glasses. The company turns the recycled glass into a Supersol by first crushing it then backing it and finally turning it into a light porous foamed material. The Supersol depending on its specific gravity can be used in multitudes of applications such as greening, insulation, horticulture, water purification as well as in architecture and civil engineering.
