A Japanese interior design company by the name of New Life Corp. has developed a 3 layered curtain featuring an exceptional thermal performance during the summer as well as winter managing to maintain a room and window temperature difference of 5 to 10 degrees Celsius. The “Air-Sandwich Curtain” as company refers to it is made by placing a special fabric between the interior layer facing the room and the window side which is a reflective layer type fabric. The thermal performance of this newly developed curtain is the result of injecting two layers of air between the three layers of fabrics.
