World’s Smallest Vision Sensor for Lane Departure Warning and Automatic High Beam Control Systems

Denso has announced the development of new vision sensor for active safety systems. The new vision sensor is 50 percent smaller than its predecessor; make it world’s smallest of its kind. The new sensor is used in active safety systems with Automatic High Beam (AHB) Control Systems as well as Lane Departure Warning (LDW) systems. The new sensor is equipped with a full-color camera instead of a monochrome camera allowing the LDW system to detect lane lines markings in various colors around the world. Read more
