Launch of New Mobile Projectors by NEC
NEC Asia made an announcement on launch of four new mobile digital projectors. The new projectors are the new addition to NEC’s existing NP Value Series. the NP110, NP115, NP210 and NP215 digital projectors use the Texas instruments DLP engine. The new projectors provide a brightness of up to 2500 lumens and high contrast images as well as number of other features at an affordable prices thanks to the new DLP engine. The new NP series projectors includes a 7-watt speaker, built-in closed captioned and ECO Mode technology capable of extending lamp life for up to 5000 hours and lowering power consumption (0.71W in standby mode). Launch of 6 New Full HD/Full Frame Rate Security Cameras by Sanyo
Sanyo made an announcement on launch of 6 new surveillance cameras all with full HD (1080p: 1920×1080)/full frame rate (30ips) capabilities. The new line-up includes CS Mount type (VCC-HD2300, VCC-HD2500), Vandal-Resistant Dome type (VCC-HD3300, VCC-HD3500), Zoom type (VCC-HD4600) and PTZ type (VCC-HD5400). Sanyo has incorporated newly-developed “Xacti HD-Pro” which is an upgraded image processing engine used in Sanyo’s Dual Camera Xacti resulting in higher image processing and sophisticated functions. Furthermore, Sanyo has achieved a 40% size reduction on these cameras through application of ultra miniature mounting technology which company acquired during the development of Dual Camera Xacti and digital cameras. Launch of new Multi Service Access Node by NEC
NEC Corporation in conjunction with NEC Magnus Communications announced the launch of new Multi Service Access Node (MSAN) AM3100 series equipped with VDSL2 interface in compliance with ITU G.993.2 standards. The new VDSL2 standard will further extend the reach of the copper wire to 4 km in comparison to maximum 1km of VDSL1 standard. The new standard offers compatibility with ADSL/ADSL2+ through product’s ADSL fallback function provide an easy migration to VDSL from the existing systems. The new product provides a 24 and 48 bidirectional transmission speed of 100Mbps (30MHz) per port with a uplink connection between telephone exchange equipment and optical fiber network can be either GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) or Gigabit Ethernet.
