Development of 6ch High-side Constant Current LED Driver IC by TOKO
TOKO has developed a low dropout 6ch high-side constant current LED driver IC in a very small 12-bump flip chip package. The newly developed TK60033AB7 IC has two groups of LED driver blocks which are separated into a 4ch and a 2ch, where each group has an independent enable control input pin (EnA, EnB) and an LED current setting pin (SetA, SetB) allowing two different output current settings. In an event when higher current is required, connecting the LED output pins in parallel is one possible way of increasing the LED current since each LED output pin is an independent high-side current source.
