Release of Large Capacity, High Speed, Low Power Consumption and Low Latency DRAM by RENESAS Electronics
Renesas Electronics has introduced a new 576-megabit, low-latency DRAM products for network equipments. The new DRAM offers double memory capacity, as well as 25% improvement in random cycle performance for high speed reading and writing of data, 33% faster operating frequency, plus over 10% reduction in power consumption compared to company’s current 288-megabit low-latency DRAM products. The energy efficient feature helps in alleviating issues related to heat dispersion during design of network devices.
