Development of “AKARIE” a Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells based Lighting by Nissha Printing
Nissha Printing and Shimane Institute for Industrial Technology have jointly developed the “AKARIE” dye-sensitized solar cells based lighting, capable of generating electricity during the daytime and can be used as a light source via its inside LED during night. As a result the newly developed “AKARIE” offers three functions of electricity generation, electricity storage as well as lighting emission, eliminating any needs for electrical work for its installation. Development of Wireless Recharging Pad based on Electric Field Coupling Wireless Power Transmission Technology
Murata Manufacturing and Nissha Printing have jointly developed a prototype of a wireless recharging pad made for wirelessly charging the mobile devices. The newly developed recharging pad has a power receiving circuit for electric field coupling wireless recharging developed by Murata. The other piece of technology that is incorporated into this prototype is integrated into the smartphone, which is a thin and flexible film (electrode) which functions as antenna, developed by Nissha Printing.
