Release of New Low-Torque, Deep Groove Ball Bearings featuring Dust resistance Seal by NSK
NSK has developed new line of deep groove bearings to meet growing demand for environmentally conscious room ventilation systems. The bearings come in two model of contact-type and non-contact type. The contact-type with its low-torque type uses analysis technology for optimizing the stiffness of the seal lip portion for reducing the required seal contact pressure by approximately 30% in comparison to the standard type bearings. On the other hand the non-contact type features improved dust resistance characteristics through introduction of rubber seal designed to minimize the gaps as much as possible in the axial direction, as well as the radial direction, while extending the non-contact seal lip section.
