Release of Low Profile Back Flip Lock Type FPC Connector by KYOCERA
Kyocera Elco made an announcement on release of a low profile and space saving FPC connector with the dimension of 1.1mm high and 3.85mm deep, designed for consumer electronics such as Notebook PCs, DSCs, DVCs as well as game consoles. The new Series 6843 is a 0.3mm pitch, right angled, back-flip locking ZIF type connector which is best suited for the internal connection in electronic equipment requiring a small area for the FPC to be laid. Release of Industry’s Thinnest LEDs by ROHM
Rohm now offers to the world industry’s thinnest LEDs. The PICOLED series by the company comes in a tiny 0.2mm thick package offering a high brightness. The newly developed PICOLED offers no brightness degradation in comparison to conventional products and at the same time achieves a reduction in mounting area and volume of 53% and 74% respectively over the standard 1608 size contributing to device miniaturization.
