NSK has announced development of a hub unit that uses a new type of grease that helps in preventing any significant decline in the service life of the bearings, even when it is exposed to water. A hub unit in automobile is a part that integrates the bearing with the hub on which automobile wheels are mounted. Introduction of New Low-Particle-Emission, Low-Torque Ball Bearing by NSK
NSK has developed a new Low-Particle-Emission, Low-Toque Ball Bearings to be implemented in conveyor systems for producing the high performance film used in LCD TV and solar cell applications. The new bearing has been designed to minimize emission of grease particles caused by bearing rotation, while utilizing minimal amount of force for rotation in preventing wrinkling and tearing of the film. Release of New Low-Torque, Deep Groove Ball Bearings featuring Dust resistance Seal by NSK
NSK has developed new line of deep groove bearings to meet growing demand for environmentally conscious room ventilation systems. The bearings come in two model of contact-type and non-contact type. The contact-type with its low-torque type uses analysis technology for optimizing the stiffness of the seal lip portion for reducing the required seal contact pressure by approximately 30% in comparison to the standard type bearings. On the other hand the non-contact type features improved dust resistance characteristics through introduction of rubber seal designed to minimize the gaps as much as possible in the axial direction, as well as the radial direction, while extending the non-contact seal lip section. Release of Spherical Roller Bearing for use in Vibration Machinery by NSK
NSK has developed long lasting spherical roller bearings to be used in vibration machinery at mining facilities. The durability of newly released roller bearing has been made possible through special groove that has been created on the raceway of the outer ring for controlling the slippage action of the rollers. Planetary shafts and cage and roller assemblies for swing and travel reduction gear are used in severe lubrication conditions where abrasion powder from gears and other foreign particles can get mixed with lubricant.
