The new sensor technology would eliminate any needs for wiring to supply electric power to the sensor unit as well as any needs for battery replacement and other type of maintenance issues, due to the fact that the new sensor’s power requirement is generated through its small-sized power generator based on micro-vibration power generation converting small vibration into electrical energy.
