Development of Compact, Low Power Video Decoder LSI by OKI Semiconductor
Oki Semi unveiled its newly developed video decoder LSI, coming in a compact W-CSP package as well as featuring a low power consumption. The newly developed ML86V76652 video decoder is capable of converting the world 3 analog video signal standard, namely NTSC, PAL and SECAM into ITU-R BT.601/BT.656 YCbCr digital format standard. Through adoption of W-CSP compact package, the newly video decoder has achieved a 70% reduction in mounting area compared to 48 pin TQFP. Read more
Development of the world’s smallest video decoder by OKI
Demand for security and surveillance video system is on the rise but these system very often must fit into a small spaces requiring compact video recorders capable of operating from a single compact power supply. To satisfy this demand OKI Semiconductor has developed the world’s smallest video decoder LSI. The ML86V76651 features a low power consumption and support for three TV signal formats namely NTSC, PAL and SECAM. The ML86V76651 using a single power supply of 1.8V with an ultra compact size of 3.8 x 3.7 mm W-CSP (Wafer-level Chip Size Package) which is 60% smaller than conventional mold packages.
