Development of World’s Fastest Inkjet Printhead for Water-Based Ink

Kyocera has announced the development of industry’s fastest inkjet printhead at 1200×1200 dpi high-resolution, achieving the print speed of 80 meters per minute. The new KJ4B-Z Series achieves higher drive frequency through improvement in signal waveform which controls the piezo actuator that controls ink ejection, as well as by improving the ink flow channel structure.
