Renesas Electronics and Renesas Mobile have announced the development of R-Mobile A1 Series of Application Processors for PND (Personal Navigation Devices) as well as other portable devices supporting terrestrial digital TV reception, map display as well as high-precision 3D graphics resulting in significant reduction in system cost for high-end equipment.
