Release of High-Power, Low-Ohmic chip Resistors by ROHM
ROHM announced a new addition to company’s LTR series chip resistors with superior junction reliability. ROHM’s offers its thick-film lineup in various range of resistance from 10m ohm to 9.1 ohm. The wide terminal configuration of the newly developed chip resistors offers improvement in joint reliability against thermal fluctuations. In addition to this, the resistive element is situated on the backside (reverse-mount design) which helps in minimizing resistance fluctuations during mounting. Read more
Launch of IP66 Compliant Compact AC-DC Switching Power Supplies for LED Devices by TDK
TDK-Lambda has announced launch of new ALC/ALV series AC-DC switching power supplies targeted to be used for LED devices. The ALC/ALV product lineup consists of switching power supplies of both constant current type as well as constant voltage type. The constant current type, namely the ALC series comes with 2 models of 0.35A and 0.7A, and the constant voltage type the ALV series comes with 3 models of 12V, 15V and 24V, all are housed in the same form factor. Development of a New Platform for Highly Efficient Power Supplies for Industrial Applications
Murata manufacturing made an announcement on successful development of a new platform for manufacturing highly efficient power supplies targeted at industrial equipment market. The new development was prompted in response to growing demand for energy conscious industrial equipment.
