Development of World’s Smallest Commercially available MEMS Microphone by TDK

TDK-EPC one of the group company of TDK, made an announcement on development world’s smallest MEMS microphones featuring a digital interface. The newly developed EPCOS T4030 bears a dimension of 3.25 x 2.25 x 1.1 mm making the new MEMS microphone about 60% smaller than available alternative products in the market. The small form factor results in a more compact design for mobile phones and other consumer electronic products such as MP3 players and digital cameras. Read more
