Sanyo is at it again by introducing yet another slim and compact dual digital video camera in its Xacti Series of cameras. The new DMX-CG110 in addition to taking Full HD videos, is capable of capturing 14-Megapixel still photos. The DMX-CG110 high resolution video and still image capability is due to combination new high-speed image processing engine, along with optimizing performance through use of Sanyo’s CMOS image sensors. Furthermore, the image processing algorithm architecture was revised along with optimization of signal processing systems in improving such functions as noise reduction plus improvement in power consumption efficiency. Seiko Epson made an announcement on release of new NS-8010 Series of IC test handlers in response to consumers’ demand in reducing testing cost. The new NS-8010 series come with a selection of compact, low price models complementing Epson’s NS-8000 series of high speed, high accuracy IC test handlers. Release of New System LSI Devices by NEC Electronics
NEC Electronics made an announcement on development of new system-on-chips (SoCs), the EC-4260 (NaviEngine-MID) and EC-4250 (NaviEngine-mini) targeted to be implemented into automotive infotainment systems. The new systems were designed to meet the performance, peripheral set and software ecosystem which is demanded by high-performance application s such as navigation, infotainment and telematics systems. The new EC-4260 three ARM-11 base CPU cores operates at 1440 MIPS at 400 MHz, while the EC-4250 performs 960 MIPS using only two ARM-11 cores. The multi CPU core architecture in the new systems support symmetrical multi-processing (SMP) mode whereby single version of operating system is running on multiple cores and tasks are dynamically allocated to cores at runtime resulting in maximum utilization of available processing power. Olympus unveiled its new interchangeable lens digital camera and its accessories. The PEN E-P2 is second Olympus camera to be developed based on Micro Four Third System Standard. The new E-P2 is a mirror-less camera with newly expanded range of 8 creative Art Filter function which includes Diorama which is capable of creating the look of a miniature diorama through enhancement of color and contrast as well as blurring the periphery to distort distance perception, and Cross Process which is capable of simulating the unexpected color transpositions ans look that result when negative film is processed with a positive film emulsion or vice versa. The new E-P2 comes with other creative tools such as i-FINISH which is a new picture mode capable of capturing subjects with exceptional clarity and presence as well as HD movie and high-quality PCM audio recording. Release of New Contactless Charger Set for Wii Remote by Sanyo
This is good news for all Wii enthusiasts if you weren’t already aware of its existence. Sanyo just released its improved version of its contactless charger for Wii remote which company introduced last year for obvious reason of not wanting to replace its AA batteries every so often. The last year model was developed to eliminate any needs to remove the protective silicon Wii Remote Jacket when replacing the batteries. Read more
Release of New Air Purification System by Sanyo
Sanyo made an announcement on launch of its new air purification system boosting the odor elimination speed by as much as three times compared to its previous model. The new model is based on Sanyo’s Virus Washer electrolyzed water technology capable of electrolyzing tap water for creating a power disinfectant effect for air purification. Sanyo has already made an announcement on August in effectiveness of its air purification technology in suppressing the H1N1 virus. Read more
