Development of UHF-Band RFID tags for Roll containers by Fujitsu
Fujitsu is at it again in RFID tag department by introducing yet another addition to its RFID tag line of products. This time the newly developed UHF-Band RFID tags are targeted to be used for roll containers which according to Fujitsu required a boost in operational management in order to prevent the loss and theft of roll containers. The newly developed RFID tag is expected to replace the commonly used ledger or bar code system which requires each container to be scanned. The new Tags as specifically designed for metal pipe roll containers for easy attachment so the tags can be read even when stacked together approximately 20mm from the container’s metallic surface. Development of RFID tags for Document Management by Fujitsu
Physically managing the hardcopy documents is a daily challenge for organization such as financial institutions and public agencies faced with growing hardcopy documents and complex document management requirements where the storage time that a document needs to be stored differs from document to document based on contractual agreements and other type of factors. To address this issue, Fujitsu and Fujitsu Frontech have jointly developed a UHF-bad type RFID tags for document management. The new tag solves the problem of the conventional RFID tags which was their inability to transmit signals when documents where stacked tightly together. Read more
