Using this technology Ricoh has developed a lead-free piezoelectric material featuring the same deformation properties as the PZT material on a silicon substrate. The new technology was made possible by modifying hydrophilicity and hydrophobicity of a substrate surface and by eliminating discards during firing thick film. Read more
