Release of New VGA Color TFT-LCD for Industrial Application by Mitsubishi Electric
Mitsubishi Electric has released two new VGA color TFT-LCD, an 8.4-inch and a 10.4-inch modules for industrial application. Both models feature superb brightness and high contrast ratio with wide viewing angle as well as wide-ranging operational temperatures plus a low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) interface. By adopting to LVDS interfaces the new modules can be manufactured at reduce cost by eliminating any needs for user to change the interface based on various resolutions. Read more
MITSUBISHI Launches 12.1-inch Industrial type Wide-XGA Color TFT LCD module
Mitsubishi is at it again by introducing yet another slim industrial type white LED wide-XGA color TFT-LCD. This 12.1 inch module offers brightness of 700 cd/m2 with a operating life of 80,000 hours at a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. The LED driver has been built-in into the module, resulting in a more compact design, while reducing the overall product cost. Furthermore, the improved backlight structure has contributed to slim design of just 9.7 mm making it 16% thinner than the previous model. Read more
Development of High Output Intelligent Power Modules by Mitsubishi Electric
Mitsubishi Electric has made announcement on launch of V1 Series, high output intelligent power modules (IPM), and targeted to be used in motors for controlling industrial machinery. The V1 Series comes with a low power loss along with its compact package for inverters with volume of 37 kilowatts or greater and servo systems with volumes of 15kW or greater. The IPM is a combination of several chips in one package which includes power chips using IGBTs and their driving circuits, as well as various protection circuits. Development of 16:3-aspect, 19.2-inch Color TFT LCD Module by Mitsubishi Electric
Mitsubishi Electric made an announcement on development of 19.2-inch TFT-LCD module with 16:3-aspect, designed to enable a broad range of display and design solution for wider-format module such as kiosk display, information monitors, gaming and other entertainment applications. The new model, AA192AA01 comes in a form factor of 496.5mm (W) x 109.2mm (H) for the display of 16:3 ratio images (1920 x 360) pixels. Furthermore, the incorporation of white LEDs has allowed the newly developed module to achieve a minimum backlight lifespan of 60,000 hours at the room temperature (25 degrees Celsius). Read more
