Release of Next Generation Fuel Cell Stack for Electric Vehicles by Nissan Motor
Nissan Motor today has released as company claims, is the next generation fuel cell stack for Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV). The new fuel cell stack with its industry’s best power density features a 50% in size reduction. In developing the fuel cell stack Nissan had made improvements to the Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA) as well as separator flow path, two components which make up the structure of Fuel Cell. Through these improvements Nissan managed to increase the power density of fuel cell stack by more than 2.5 times in comparison to company’s 2005 model. Read more
