Development of Solar powered mobile phone by DoCoMo
NTT DOCOMO made an announcement on development of SOLAR HYBRID soalr powered, waterproof mobile phone. Docomo STYLE series™ SH-08A will go on sale at all DOCOMO sales channels in Japan from September. The SOLAR HYBRID can be recharged with sunlight as well as electricity. The user would be able to use the SOLAR HYBRID even when its battery has completely lost its charge, by just 10 minutes of solar recharging via a panel on the phone’s body the user can approximately talk for one minute on SOLAR HYBRID . The SOLAR HYBRID features an 8-megapixel CCD camera capable of taking photo even in dim lighting or when objects are moving. The SOLAR HYBRID complies with IPX5 /IPX7 specification. ?
