Development of super fiber by Teijin
This is world’s first 700 Nanometer ultra fine polyester nanofiber developed by Teijin which the company calls it “Nanofront”. Through use of new “island-in-sea” composite spinning technology Teijin has overcome the issue of unstable quality which is associated with conventional mass production of nanofibers. The surface area woven in long fibers structure could be tens of times greater in comparison to conventional fibers resulting in enhanced water absorption, absorbability of particles and anti-translucency.
